FUT Software for Product Management

The MRiX™ technology – mobile client, communications infrastructure, cloud services and scripting environment – provides a unique method for product development teams to scale and manage Android smartphones, the friendly user participants and the information flows between the appropriate folk on all sides of the test team; developer, friendly user and product manager. Which means that whilst Savage Minds manages the administrative burden and the underpinning technology, the product development team can concentrate on gathering the performance data, analytics and user experience.

Mobile Android client

MRiX™ incorporates a small footprint (approximate size 1MB) mobile agent, a scripting engine and instant messaging communication components. The mobile agent uses Android’s APIs to provide access to the underlying system, it can also be extended to take advantage of a manufacturer’s own Application Programming Interfaces (APIs). Whilst the scripting engine supports out-of-the box features, it has the flexibility to enable deployment of new scripts to in-the-field handsets, for tasks such as mobile tests and usage monitoring.

Real time communication infrastructure

MRiX™ uses an underpinning communication layer that’s built on proven, standardised and established Instant Messaging (IM) protocols to deliver an efficient, bi-directional and scalable solution that allows subscribers and devices to interact in quasi-synchronisity, within a fine grained secure environment.

Cloud services

The MRiX™ web console provides a complete toolkit for development teams to manage Friendly User Trials. There’s an administrative console to manage devices, users and groups. A workflow tab to manage your existing services and a simple interface that helps management folk develop customised tests for participants. There’s also an analytics dashboard to understand key performance metrics at a glance.

Scripting

Scripts can be deployed and run interactively via a web browser, or automatically deployed across a group of phone. MRiX scripts have access to many Android APIs, but they can also be extended to support manufacturers and operators own APIs. Which are all accessed through a simple interface that makes it easy to: handle events, start activities, make phone calls, send text messages, poll location and sensor data and more..
